Card Challenge #6

Now that Thanksgiving is past, the Holiday Season is here upon us. There is so much to do: All the shopping that needs to be done, the cards that need to be sent, the present that need to be wrapped. So I thought I would help us out a bit with this weeks card challenge.

So for todays Card Challenge, I want you to make a Christmas Card. But somehow, that seems all too easy, right? So there is a second part to todays challenge. Make your Christmas Card Blue.

I can't wait to see your blue Christmas Card. If you feel like sharing, please post a link here in the Comment section.

Have a great day!

Recipe Challenge #12

These challenges can be used on cards or layouts.

I will give a list of three items that must be used on a card or layout. When you complete a card or layout with these specific items, then you can post that you completed the challenge in the comment section. I would love to see all the cards and layouts you create using this recipe.

Now, I know the question is going to be asked, so I am going to answer it now. Are you limited to only the items listed? The answer is No. You can use as many items on your layout as you wish. But the minimum on it must be what is listed in the recipe.

Create a card or layout using the following items:

  • Something more than 6 months old
  • Rub Ons
  • Heart
As usual, if you would like to share your take on this challenge, link it up in the comment section.
Have a great day Everyone!

Card Challenge #5

Sorry I am later than normal to upload todays card challenge. I went to the Netherlands today and this is the first chance I have had to get on the computer.

Todays Card Challenge has to do with something sparkly. While visiting my friend last week in Frankfurt, she brought me some fun scrap goodies. And one thing I got was Stickles. Do you own any stickles? If so, use them on your card this week. If not, take this opportunity to go buy some and give them a try. Or, you can use any form of glitter you want.

Let's see your cards you make. Just post a link in the comment section.

Have a Fabulous Day!

12 X 12 Layout Sketch #20

Just want to remind everyone that today is the last day to send a layout in to become a member of Sketches! Layout Design Team. It doesn't matter where you live or what your scrapping style is. Remember, you need to submit a layout to scrapbooksketches@gmail.com before midnight tonight. You can find a link to all the details at the top of the blog here.

This week's sketch is a 4 photo sketch. Remember your layout doesn't have to be exactly like the sketch. The sketch is there to help with inspiration. You will notice that my layout only has 3 photos on it. That is what worked best with the photos I had to work with.

If you use the sketch, I would love to see your layout you create. Just link it up in the comment section if you feel like sharing.

Have a super day everyone! Tomorrow is our Card Challenge Day. Hope you come back and check it out!

Journaling Challenge #6

Happy Friday Everyone!

Yesterday was a holiday in the part of Germany where I live. And today, the kids are out of school still and my husband took the day off work. I was able to sit down and scrap for about 2 hours. I have a total of 16 2-page layouts I need to finish for a layout swap I am in. So I am trying to get those finished by next week.

Now for todays challenge, I want to see some Hidden Journaling. Or should I say, I don't want to see your journaling. :) Some examples are Use a file folder and have your journaling on the inside, Tuck a journaling tag behind a picture or even a Match book with the journaling inside. Really, the possibilities are endless.

I can't wait to see what you come up with. I'd love you to link up your layout when you complete this challenge if you feel like sharing.

Have a Fabulous Weekend!

Card Sketch #18

First off, I am going to apologize for not getting this up sooner. Today is a holiday here in Germany and I have been real busy in the kitchen all morning and afternoon. I made a Turkey with all the fixings. Think about how busy you are at Thanksgiving and that is exactly what I have been doing today. We had friends over to enjoy the feast and it was a lot of fun even though a lot of work.

Here is this weeks sketch. Have fun with it! Feel free to link up your card in the comment section if you would like to share.

Have a great Thursday, what is left of it!
